24 An Essay Template
You can download a full template for PAIS Essays in this section. To allow for both referencing styles permissible in PAIS, I have created two templeates, one with in-text citations, and a second one with footnote references. You need to put all of the documents listed for each style in the same folder in order for it to work.
The templates fulfill my personal formatting preferences:
- A title page without page numbering
- A table of contents, list of figures, and list of tables, with Roman page numbering
- Text body with Arabic numbering
- A properly formatted “List of References”
To make your life even easier, you can also download the .bib files for each module I teach on the downloads page. These files contain all sources cited on lecture slides and worksheets.
