Preface

This is the online companion to the seminars on PO12Q. This replaces the physical worksheets which we work through in seminars for a few reasons:

• it provides a more seamless, integrated appearance
• you can copy / paste code directly from the code chunks in this online companion, whereas doing so from a pdf (on Moodle) tends to lead to problems with character encoding.
• it adds a lot of other functionality a pdf could only dream of
• it is environmentally friendlier
